Have a gravy boat which I thought to be Electroplated.
But the marks look silver.Any help will be appreciated

Lion should LOOK like Lionpassant
Panter should LOOK LIKE London.
In order to confuse. The frame is wrong so you are right its is not silver

Wrong. It definitely IS silver. London, 1906 Mappin & Webb.

Aha so this frame is OK.
The marks where close to the original - so now I know why. It is because they are original. Embarassed
