Another newbie needing identification

Any help gratefully received…

I just bought a silver ladle at a local antique fair… no problem with the price I paid, I just liked the look of it (sort of sang out to me). It has the look and feel of solid silver, but I can’t actually identify the marks on this piece. It came with a lable saying 1821 and has initials engraved on the handle in gothic script.

It has what appears to be a very stylalised thistle, a very gothic looking capital letter ‘A’ and the initials at the end appear to be LB.

Cheers
