I have 4 old English tiny individual salt cellars that I want to identify. One mark is the Lion, another is the Crown mark. The 3rd mark is the one in question. The mark looks like a Z. What does that mean? Thanks for any help you might give me.
It may be the date code letter. However we must see an image in order to (a) be sure it is an English hallmark and (b) to confirm whether it is the date letter you are seeing or something else.
