I have two silver? mustard pots with a flag that says W & H with a u underneath and the numbers 51627 77, the spoons say SSP & C CO LTD. Does anyone have any idea what these mean
W&H on a flag is the trade mark of Walker & Hall of Sheffield and SSP&C Co Ltd is most likely Sheffield Silver Plate & Cutlery Co Ltd. A picture would really help with correct identification though.
In the absence of anything which sounds like a hallmark it is most likely that they are electroplated and not silver.
