4 piece tea set

Hi all.

I am a self-employed driver who clears houses as part of what I do. I was at a house today and told to remove everything. One of the items was this 4 piece set. I know nothing about silver so would appreciate some help in finding out a bit about it and a rough value. The marks on the bottom look like “FM ESS”.

Before these can be valued we must identify them properly. Can you post pictures of the marks which you describe please. From your description it seems likely that the material is not silver as you have not mentioned anything which sounds like a British hallmark or fineness marking.
