Which bring me back to my usual complaint, Auctioneers who mislabel.

Irish silver sells at premium to English Silver so this is a potential trap for a buyer who does not use this site to sus stuff out.

Good news is St Paddy’s reputation as a snake charmer is intact.

Well at least the right assay office got a mention. But, despite the fact that there were William Bonds in both Dublin and London at different times, this is neither of them. A correct identification is left (as they used to say) as an exercise for the reader…
