Antique silver lancet

Hi, I have a silver antique lancet case by Joseph willmore (I believe from 1843) and inside is a single lancet engraved with a crown and the letters W.P
Does anybody have any idea who this could have belonged to or could the engraving be irrelevant.

I can not upload any images, I keep getting a message saying “unable to complete previous operation as low on memory”??

Image upload is working for me. Try reducing your image size.

I suspect that your 1843 is a typo as it’s 1834!

The crown and WP are the trademarks of the blade maker. The blade would almost certainly have been made in Sheffield so that’s a good place to start looking if you want to find out any more.

That is excellent thank you very much.
