Can anyone help with these hallmarks?

Hi,
Can anyone help me with these hallmarks?
This one seems to indicate 2 different dates:-

and I can’t find the maker for this one, can anyone help?

The first hallmark is London 1908, Britannia standard silver (.958) with the sponsor’s (maker’s) SG of Sebastian Garrard of Garrard & Co.

The second mark is also London, but sterling standard (.925). This is substantially earlier than the first mark, dating from 1571. The maker’s mark, RF in monogram, is that of Roger Flint.

It would be very interesting to see a picture of the whole piece. Assuming that it is a single piece I guess that the Garrard part is an addition or repair.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Thank you so much for your help with this. These are actually from a chalice and its lid. The earlier date is the lid which is shown on the more recent chalice below.

I am treasurer for several churches and I am trying to document some of the dates and makers from the other six items we hold in safe storage. Would you be able to help with this?
Kind regards,
Paul.
