IS THIS SILVER AND WHAT IS IT
It’s a basket. I guess you could use it for fruit. Unfortunately it is electroplate, not silver, and by Thomas White of Sheffield (there’s a T rubbed off before the W). It probably dates to the 1875-1900 era.
