Can somebody please help me identify the date hallmarks etc?i found this metal detecting 10 years ago it has a very basic buckle design

Your ring has a Birmingham sterling silver hallmark with the date letter y for the assay year 1898/99. The sponsor’s/maker’s mark W*B is one which I have seen before but which I have not yet identified.
