A dear friend of mine from elementary school is a priest. He asked me for help in identifying the chalice. Let me know what you think based on the attached photos.

It provides a complete translation of the document which would seem superfluous to your needs but somewhat useful if you are asking someone who speaks a different language to assist you. The translation says that the card says the chalice is silver gilt.
The scratch mark on the rim of the base is “Laki 1757”. There is no particular reason to suppose this was placed there by whoever made the chalice. “Laki” could refer to a number of towns in the somewhat volatile borders of Poland in that time period.
There appears to be another mark on the base but I cannot tell if that mark is on the cup or on the photo of the cup.
The cup or chalice may well be part of a communion set which might have included a paten, flasks for water and wine and a cloth. Its design is very similar to chalices made in other parts of northern Europe in the 19th ( Nota Bene) century.
This “dear friend” of yours has the cup in his possession? If so perhaps he could take pictures for you which might answer some questions. He might also provide some background as to how he acquired it which could point us in the right direction.
