got a silver fob from chester 1745 ther is a maker on it but cant tell for sure what it says its all so got chain with key and bar whats it worth

I have given you an estimate of value in your other post. This was based on the assumption that it is silver. If you do not show us a picture of the hallmarks I cannot be any more definite. But I can guarantee that this is not Chester 1745. You should note that the style of the date letter U for 1745 was repeated in 1920, which is a much more likely date.
