Apologies for the quality of my pictures but have bought a Christofle Scoop type item and wondered if someone could please help me identify if it’s silver or silver plated. Also if someone can please let me know what this item would be for?

I do know that’s an Asparagus server. I don’t recognize those marks, but if it really is Christofle, then it’s silver-plate, as those are not the type of marks for French Minerve “sterling” standards (Minerve 1 is 95%, 2 is 80% purity).
