Hi,
As one of my hobbies I dig in old dumps. I find bottles trinkets, etc, back to 1840’s
I just found a silver plated fork and spoon. On reverse It reads " Pat, July 9,12 1881
then “R” in wreath then “RODGERS” THEN “R” in wreath A1" The Spoon has same hall mark but different design.
Item seems to be GODETIA Pattern now owned by ONEIDA, but originated by Rogers
Pattern was discontinued circa 1912. Link to Replacement.com’s listing is included.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Yes that looks like it.
Do you happen to know when this design started?
