I have a set of rather unpleasing forks, almost certainly of continental origin. They bear marks as in the photo. Does the “90” mark imply 90/1000 silver content? I would have thought it was hardly worthwhile making objects with such a low silver content… And can anyone help with the maker: a lion flanked by letters “R.” and “S.”?
