Hi I’ve looked at all the info regarding Elkington and have I a rather lovely piece but can’t work the date out if someone could help please.
This is electroplate, not silver, so the normal hallmarking rules for dating don’t apply. However Elkington, unusually for electroplaters, used a private date coding system. “K” is their code for 1871.
