Found in garden

I unearthed this a couple of months ago from my mother’s garden. She has been there for 40+ years and doesn’t recognise it. I can see the lion mark and what appears to be RC but can’t quite get the middle or end marks. Maybe the end is an italic L? Any advice gratefully received as I’m quite curious as to who’s it could have been!

This is a London hallmark for 1985 (script L). The maker’s mark looks like that of Ronald Cordon. You don’t say what the item is but I have seen his mark on a money clip, a tasting cup and a thimble.

Thanks Phil! Sorry it’s a ring with a leaf pattern inscribed. Now to figure out who’s it is! :grinning:
