I know nothing about it but my late husband accepted it as collateral against a £700 loan more than 20 years ago. He never got his money back. Was he scammed?
Your claret jug was assayed in Sheffield in 1903 and was made by Joseph Rodgers & Sons. As for value, I would recommend looking at sold listings on ebay or recent auction house sales to look for similar items.
