Hi. I have never seen this stamp before and wanted to know more about it. It is on a carved server.
Are there any other marks on the piece?
Given this is Ottoman Empire .900 silver the two marks we see may well be the Sultan’s signature and the maker’s place of origin; the “Tughra” and “Sah” marks.
Someone who deals in near Eastern silver would be a reliable data source for you.
