We are fortunate a great deal Stuart and Elizabethan Silver research and scholarship has been completed since this fine work was published some 73 years ago making this trilogy something valued as much for its rarity in early edition as for the information it might provide compared to say “Silversmiths in Elizabethan and Stuart London: Their Lives and Their Marks” David Mitchell, 2017."
Mind you Mitchell 's work is as rare as proverbial hen’s teeth and when a copy does show up it priced well above original list.
