Help ! Can someone identify this marker

Kingdom of Sardinia (Italy). Marks:

  • Torino (Turin) town mark (bull’s head) used in the period 1824-1872 (.800);
  • silver fineness 800/1000 mark (cross of SS. Maurizio and Lazzaro);
  • maker’s mark - still searching :face_with_monocle:
  • GV - Giuseppe Vernoni, assayer, Torino 1822
  • D 11 - silver fineness 11 Denari 916/1000

I read about forgeries (the link that you sent) I find it difficult to spot because it’s not really easy. This silver was a gift for my mom , from some old lady who was born raise and died in Torino. My mother was her maid (25 years ago we talking about). Anyway, I appreciate your help and I really thx you for your time! God bless you!

I am glad that I could help you, although I am not entirely satisfied with the effect. But I count on the help of other members of our forum (“The largest internet forum dedicated to silver repair, hallmark research, antique silver identification, and restoration of silver objects.”). Thank you for your kindness and kind words. May God bless you too.
