Help identifying a hallmark - possibly Scottish

I have inherited a snuff box with interior hallmarks. There is no assay office but as my family are Scottish and I found a similar date letter for Edinburgh, I’m assuming Edinburgh 1894. I am really struggling to find the makers mark - does anyone have an ideas?

Thank-you for your help.
Best wishes

I can see why you are suggesting Edinburgh 1894 - the date letter appears identical. Unfortunately that’s the only match. Had it been Edinburgh 1894 there would also have been a town mark (castle) and a standard mark (thistle). There would not have been a duty mark, as payment of duty was abolished in 1890. So we need to be looking elsewhere. I have no idea where.
