Help identifying silver teapot

#1

I would appreciate any expertise or knowledge identifying this teapot. A family member told me it is from 1700’s but after some basic net research I think its more 1883.It is solid silver. Thank you for any assistance or opinion.

There are many similar examples of tea services in this pattern from the late Victorian period in both solid silver and silver plate. I assume that the hallmarks pictured in your other topic “Help identifying silver teapot markings” relate to this teapot (it would have been better had you added the picture here). If so I can confirm your date of 1883 with London assay marks. The makers are Walter & George Sissons of Sheffield.
