I am trying to identify the date of production and the maker of this hip flask. I am new to silverware, but some online research suggests it is sterling silver with a Sheffield hallmark, and the date letter is an ‘h’ (possibly 1900?)? Any idea of it’s value would also be helpful.

Sheffield 1900 is completely correct. FCA&Co is Frederick C Asman & Co, a Sheffield company.
Value depends on several different things. I suggest that you have a look a Ebay’s “Sold” listings. You should find something comparable which will give you an indication of what people are prepared to pay.
