Although this isn’t hallmarked, it does say Sterling Silver, but can anyone tell me what the W.Bs means? Also there is a really tiny mark at the bottom of the back of the brooch. I cannot get a good photo of it. It looks almost like a cats face. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know roughly how old this might be?

WBs is the maker - Ward Brothers of Branston Street, Birmingham, prolific makers of Scottish themed jewellery. They were in operation from before 1900 until around 1980, and possibly later. I can’t help with the other mark; it may just be a flaw.
