Hi, can anyone help me date this photo locket? I've been told it's 1924, but it looks more like 1974 to me... thanks to anyone who can help

I agree, it’s 1974, Phil’s site Birmingham Makers Marks - Z lists a possible maker as Zales Jewellers.

I am no expert in the value of items of jewellery, however I would weigh it to determine the spot price value of the silver, then perhaps look at sold listings for similar items on ebay and similar sites.

More likely to be Phil’s alternate choice: Zenda Jewellery Co, Manufacturing Jewellers, Hockley St, Birmingham, UK which specialized in sterling silver pendants.

For pricing here’s another pendant by the same company but with a gold plated sterling chain for 116 Euros.
