I was going through my loose Stg Albert clips to finish off a couple of Albert Chains & i had this gold albert clip among them , i dont even remember where it came from , maybe a bulk buy years back. But when i looked at it i did not recognise the markings/stamps on it. As you will see it has stamped XXXX on outer rim & initials J.B. on the inner. It also looks like at some stage of its life someone has dug out divets in the o ring on the end to see if it was plated , i had good look with x40 loupe & it still looked gold in the deepest cut.
Now i know we are a silver forum but if someone can either shed light on this or point me in the right direction as usual i would much appreciate. My research has come up with a big fat zero.
