Is anyone able to help me identify this butter knife??
The mark is an electroplate mark (crown over EP) so it is not silver. The manufacturer was John Yates & Sons of Birmingham. It dates from the latter part of the 19th century, definitely before about 1895 as use of a crown on electroplated wares was made illegal about that time.
