Identify silver spoon

Can someone identify this spoon for me, please. It is 11 7/8” long and possibly a coin silver stuffing spoon? I would like to know its composition, maker if possible and age.
Thank you,
Sandy

Thank you, Bart. That’s certainly a good source for me - I am just beginning to try to learn about silver, silver plate, etc.
Do you think it could be coin silver?
Thanks, Sandy

U welcome!

It’s from Germany, for sure, but maker (“AH”) is still unknown…
“Zigzag is usually the result of the assay process. Material is scraped from the object and tested for silver alloy fineness. (Cited from: Question about a German silver Hallmark | Antiques Board)”

And apart from advertising, will you contribute anything valuable to the discussion?

Bart, thank you SO very much - I can’t believe how much I’ve learned in only two days! Such an interesting hobby to investigate - and so complicated and diverse! I’m looking forward to identifying a few more pieces I have.
Thanks again,
Sandy
