Hi, I am in need of some assistance please. I have recently purchased a silver(?) porringer. The marks under the base are unfamiliar to me, The bowl itself looks Indian in design but, it seems an odd combination, Scottish porringer - Indian manufacture! I know it is entirely possible it is something other than silver. I am putting some images on for your perusal, sorry they are not very good, I ignored all advise and went for the swift option of flash as it is dark now. I hope someone can give me some answers.
