J A N S?

Hello, i was wondering if anyone knew what this mark means on some flatware i have come across. I am guessing the “N S” may mean nickel silver?? Thanks for any help

Kind regards

It’s possible that NS is all part of the maker’s initials. A1 is normally used on electroplate, but I can’t find JANS (or JA) in any of my lists of electroplaters.

Thanks for the reply, i have searched everywhere for any information with no luck so far. This mark has really stumped me! There is nothing online which i couldnt beleive either,

Thanks again
