I wondered if anyone had come across this hallmark before? It is from a Masonic jewel from 1872.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not one I’ve seen before but I can identify it. It’s JMcK, not as you quote GMcK, and is the mark of James McKiernan. He is listed as a supplier of “masonic furnishings”.
