Is the owner offering this ewer and stand for sale or just seeking information on what he has?
If it is sterling silver it will be marked .925 and under Ottoman, later Turkish rules, if that is where it originates, data on the place and person making it and under which local ruler’s authority. Authentic pieces will bear Ottoman tughra hallmarks and often European import marks like the French ‘Swan’ mark.
There will be drinking vessels or cups to match. If you are buying you should probably have them with it.
