Hello, in the first photo I couldn’t tell if, in addition to E P, there are more letters like E P N S or E P S. If it has these initials it means that Electro Plated Nickel Silver or for the last Electro Plated Silver. If you ask me just based on the visual aspect, I would say that it really is plated.
To clean the letters better you can use a metal polish or even a little toothpaste.
Hi it says EPS but before that there’s a triangle with a letter M in it.
