Millennium pendant maker MJC

The maker’s mark on this millennium pendant looks like MJC. Can anyone tell me who that might be and where it was made?

This pendant has an Edinburgh hallmark but it probably wasn’t made there. MJC is the sponsor’s mark of Maddocks Jewellery Collection of Norwich who registered the mark in 1998 but it’s likely that it was made for them elsewhere.

Thank you both for the information.
It would seem that the cross with 2000 and a dot in the centre is a commemorative mark that was used in 1999 and 2000 to mark the Millennium. I have seen it before on Sheffield silver.
