I hope someone can help me with this. I can find the hallmark no where Te, and believe me, I have tried. Thank you for your help.

Welcome back to the forum, Michael. The mark is an electroplate mark and has been identified on another site as (probably) the Continental Sheffield Silverplate Co of Brooklyn, NY.

I hope you will not mind me pointing out your previous post about your inheritance. It may be a lesson to other posters that a picture really is better than hundreds of words!

Thank you for the quick response. I really appreciate it. I do not mind being pointed out as a good example of a bad example. lol. I can understand how hard it would be to identify something from just a description. The platter is priceless to me due to its sentimental value. I am surprised it is a US hallmark but that makes it more interesting to me. Where can I find out more about this?
