Hi everyone,
Just a quickie enquiry regarding a single item of silver I just bought (at a car-boot sale for £1).
Sorry, I don’t have a photo just yet… I’m at work and the fork is at home. I’ll soon add one!
Anyway, it is a Old English, bright-cut silver fork. The fork is in great shape, has a London mark and date stamp for 1793. The maker’s mark is R.C. which (I think is Richard Crossley). The handle is clean, without a crest or initials. I know his spoons go for a fair bit… what about his forks?
Cheers
Edl
