I am looking for information on a wide silver plate (?) salver with high handles. It looks rather like a boat. I can find no matching image on the internet. I’d like to know its age and original purpose.

We’ll need to see a clear, closeup photo of any marks that appear on the piece, along with a photo of the entire piece. If it’s sterling, it could have substantial value. If it’s just plate, it’s probably more in the “decorative” category. The marks will tell the story.
