Silver spoon 40% Silver or 40g silverplate?

Hey there I have been able to identify a lot of silver items, but this spoon confuses me. I know the mark indicates it is made by Magnus Aase, but I cant find anywhere that they make silver played stuff. Anyways here is the mark, could anyone help?
