Can anyone shed some light on this?

It’s 3 x 3 x 1 centimeters.
Any chance of pics open and of insides please. Seems more like a small compact or mirror case than snuff !!!

It is really small, so I don’t think it was ever used as a compact. No signs of any mirror in there either.

I think it was probably a pill box. Too small for trinkets 
But any thoughts on the maker’s mark??

You’re right. I always find it so hard to put a price on these things.

Silver12newbie, you are now assuming your little box is “actual silver”. If by that you mean solid silver of perhaps .800 purity, I think you are too optimistic. I see no indication on your box that it is solid silver.
