Hello, and apologies that this is not silver related. I have some brass serving cutlery pieces with an interesting hallmark. I was researching online and couldn’t find any comprehensive resources for marks that aren’t silver or anything for brass in particular. I just wondered if anyone knew of any books or sites for hallmarks of other metals? thank you.
You will find a fair selection of trademarks (hallmarks, by definition, are only on independently assayed precious metals) in “Trademarks on Base-Metal Tableware” by Eileen Woodhead. It’s available as a free PDF.
