P & R Bushell were a family-run business. Philip, Minnie and Raymond started in 1970 manufacturing jewellery from their workshop on Regent Place, in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
P & R Bushell has two maker’s marks both registered in 1976, although slightly different you can still identify any P & R Bushell jewellery by the prominent P&RB mark. They got their hallmark in February 1976 at the Birmingham Assay Office, which is also located in the Jewellery Quarter.
