Firstly Hi to everyone and thanks for accepting me. recently I picked up some silver items from a house sale, I am a novice but most of the pieces are easy to identify but this bowl is proving difficult, I think it is silver and I also think it could be German or dutch,and maybe before had a glass bowl in the top? i can find no stamps hallmarks anywhere just scratches and marks and wonder if anyone could confirm the origin and style please.
