Unusual(?) souvenir spoon

I think this is a souvenir spoon made in Europe, but I have researched it a bit, and haven’t yet found any with this sort of engraving in the ‘bowl’ of the spoon.

The ends appear to be gold (plated?), with the middle appearing to be silver. I have looked closely, and there are no maker’s marks, hallmarks, or anything else engraved into it.

This looks like a Venegtian souvenir–the winged lion is a symbol of St Mark – it’s on the column in the Piazza San Marco. I’ve no idea as to date.

Thanks Hugh.

Any idea if this piece could be actual silver, with perhaps gold plating on the ends, without it containing any makers mark or hallmark??
