W & H fork

Good evening

Last week when I was on vacation in Arkhangelsk region (Nothern Russia) our host showed me this old fork. He claims it was brought there by the British soldiers during Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War (1918-1919). On the other hand, it probably belonged to the British serviceman who visited this area 2 decades later during WWII (Arctic convoys etc.).

I did a little research so I know that this spoon is made by Walker and Hall and it is silver plate but I am puzzled by this “i”-shield. It doesn’t look like any of 5 typical W&H shields (probably because it is silver plate, not solid silver). So any additional info (when it was produced, for example) will be much appreciated.

Btw, the marks on fork in question look exactly like these ones:

Thank you!
