I’m not knowledgeable on this topic at all, but my dogs have dug up what appears to be a silver fork and I am curious as to how old it is/where is it from/would anyone possibly want this, etc. I figured this would be the best place to ask! I’ll attach a few photos. I have cleaned it with vineger and baking soda but it’s still in pretty bad shape.
Your dogs have unearthed an electroplated fork made by William Gallimore & Co in Sheffield some time around the late 19th / early 20th century. Even if perfect it would be worth curiosity value only.
