Hi, I’m a newbie, and hoping for some assistance. Can someone please help me with this hallmark on a fish set.

HB &HS

I believe the HB & H part is Harrison Brothers & Howson, but is the ‘S’ for silver plate, or for sterling please.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yes, almost certainly Harrison Bros & Howson, but we need to see a picture to be sure. The S is most likely for Sheffield.

You can be almost sure that it is plated.
