HI this is my first post and I have a question as to if this little thing is a toy, a baby item or something worth keeping. It’s a 3 inch nail file and the handle has a star next to what looks like H&H sterling
This is not a toy - it’s probably part of a larger manicure set which would have had things like matching cuticle pushers, scissors, a nail buffer and perhaps a sterling lidded glass pot or two. For examples try putting the following search string (between the square brackets) into Google’s image search: [sterling OR silver “manicure set”]. It’s almost certainly American but that’s as far as my identification goes.
