Amsterdam Silver Marks - help needed

Hello,

I am trying to understand these illegible silver marks. If my new research is correct ( I am brand new at this) the three crosses under the crown are for Amsterdam?
There is a letter mark “V” and I cannot find any information on that at all . I believe this piece could be early 18th century. There is a maker’s mark that is a rectangle with squared corners. It appears to have three illegible letters. Maybe the first one is an S and the second an O? There also appears to be some kind of faint head facing left located in the silver just under the bottom right corner of the maker’s mark. It may also be my imagination after looking at it for so long.
Any help is greatly appreciated. My internet search directed me to the Tardy’s book and after looking up the price of that one, there is no way I will ever see what is inside the covers.
Thanks
James
