The maker’s mark is MH over &Co - the manufacturer’s mark of Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield. The other four marks read EPGS, electroplated German silver. German silver is a type of nickel silver, a base metal alloy containing no silver. The term “German silver” fell out of favour during the First World War.
